Consulting, support, and project work are governed by a written agreement between Polaris and the client, together with any statement of work issued under it. If that agreement and this page conflict, the written agreement controls.

No engagement, no advice

Nothing on this site is technical, legal, or financial advice for your particular situation, and reading it does not make you a client. A consulting relationship begins only when you and Polaris have a signed agreement.

Accuracy and availability

The site is provided as is. Polaris tries to keep it accurate and current but does not warrant that it is either, and may change or remove material without notice. Rates shown here are current when published and are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Content and marks

The text, images, layout, and code of this site belong to Polaris IT Solutions, Inc., except where rights belong to someone else. The Polaris name and logo are marks of Polaris IT Solutions, Inc. You may read, print, and share these pages. You may not republish the content as your own or use the marks without permission.

Links to other sites

A link to another site is provided for convenience. It is not an endorsement, and Polaris is not responsible for material on the other site.

What this site collects

The site has no accounts, login, or chat widget. It sets no cookies and runs no third-party tracking or advertising scripts. It does not load web fonts or other resources from third-party services.

The hosting provider may keep standard request logs, and Polaris may review aggregate visit counts. That information is not used to identify individual visitors.

If you email Polaris, Polaris keeps what you send in order to respond and maintain ordinary business records. It is not sold or shared except as required by law.

Remote support

Clients may be directed to a page on this site that provides a remote-support download. The software and any session that uses it are covered by the client agreement, not by these website terms.

Limits

Polaris is not liable for loss arising from use of this website. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not alter a signed consulting agreement, which addresses liability for the work itself.

Changes

Polaris may revise these terms. The date below identifies the version in force.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
